Latest developments in noise research
The latest developments in Noise research will be discussed at a meeting on 24 May organised by the The Institute of Acoustics' Environmental Noise Group in conjunction with DEFRA.
The workshops will take place on 14 April at RIBA in London and on 28 April at the Arden Hotel, Birmingham.
Towards the end of February 2005, DEFRA published a consultation document regarding the transposition and implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC on the Assessment and Management of Environmental Noise - the Environmental Noise Directive (END).
These two workshops will provide an opportunity for delegates to hear about the Directive and to discuss the issues.
The outcome of the discussions will go towards formulating the IOA response to the consultation document. Request a free brochure from Institute of Acoustics ...
