KMT Waterjet Systems is underlining its world leading position as a supplier of waterjet cutting technology at MACH 2006.

The company's reputation for high quality innovative technology is demonstrated through the Streamline series of waterjet intensifiers which are being highlighted at the show.

The Streamline SL-V 50 is featured on the stand and details will also be provided of the complete KMT Waterjet Systems' range including the Abrasive Management System AMS 1 which provides the highest levels of accuracy, reliability and economy in continuous abrasive flow for waterjet cutting systems.

KMT's Streamline SL-V range has set new design and operational standards with a number of advanced features.

These include the Hard Seal End CapDesign (HSEC) topwork design that is both compact and light weight.

It provides metal-to-metal seal eliminating traditional seals thereby reducing consumable costs and downtime.

The bolted end cap is also much easier to assemble at a maximum torque of 48 Nm.

This energy saving Soft Start feature provides users with up to 20% savings in power consumption when the pump is first switched on.

The smooth start also keeps torsional start-up loads to a minimum.

The range features a Moeller MI-4 control system which provides full operational control including access to individual components' alarm histories to achieve maximum lifetime usage.

The latest addition to the KMT range is the Streamline SL-V200 which has a power rating of 200 HP and this power, together with economic running costs and reliability, combine to provide maximum waterjet cutting performance.

In order to achieve an operating pressure of around 4.000 bar, which is commonly required for many applications, advanced pump technology is required.

KMT Waterjet Systems provides this with the new Streamline SL-V 200 and its powerful water flow and can operate around the clock without interruption.

The 200 HP power rating is achieved by two intensifiers in a standard configuration.

This is a unique combination and the result is not only reduced space in the workshop, but also a minimisation of wear parts resulting in reduced operating costs and maintenance.

The flow rate of one single intensifier is 7.6 l/min, so that the pump can supply up to 15.2 l/min at full load.

It is also possible to switch off on intensifier when servicing is required.

Streamline intensifiers are also featured at the MACH exhibition on the WightmanStewart stand (Stand 4627) and Kerf Developments (Stand 4633).
