Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment has launched the new IR20BV breaker.

Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment has launched the new IR20BV breaker, extending the company's breaker range to five models, as well as a new handle assembly for this model and the existing IR25BV, IR30BV and IR40BV breakers in the range.

The five model Ingersoll Rand breaker range offers high power output and performance with low vibration levels.

In addition, the low air consumption of the breakers means they are economical to operate.

With a weight of 20.8 kg, the new IR20BV breaker fills the gap between the current IR15BV and IR25BV models.

The power output of the IR20BV breaker is 50 J, and it has an impact frequency of 1320 bpm.

The IR20BV breaker offers two shank sizes - 25H x 108 and 28H x 160.

The new handle assembly in the IR20BV, IR25BV, IR30BV and IR40BV breakers is again made of steel to maintain the same levels of top fatigue resistance, but the assembly is lighter than the previous handle body.

This results in a weight reduction of about 1.3 kg per model and improves the balance of the breaker by reducing the weight at the top end of the tool.

The low weight of the three smaller breaker models, the IR15BV, the IR20BV and IR25BV, allows them to be handled and moved around easily.

Moreover, with their high power to weight ratios, they offer high productivity in less demanding breaking applications.

The high power of the larger IR30BV and IR40BV breakers is ideal for working on hard materials and thicker layers of concrete and other surfaces.
