Ingersoll provides doorsets for emergency store
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has supplied steel doorsets for a project to help the flood hit community of Workington in Cumbria.
Vehicle and pedestrian bridges over the river Derwent were swept away during the flooding.
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies supplied two single and one double steel doorsets for a purpose built interim Tesco supermarket.
The temporary store was open and trading 13 days after start on site.
The doorset order was processed in one day and a team of three multi-skilled workers were assigned the task of manufacturing and completing the order as quickly as possible.
Complete doorsets were supplied on site within four days, instead of the usual 3-4 week Fast Track Service.
Martin Roberts Fast Track steel doors are available in various pre-designed styles and options, are factory prepared and reinforced to facilitate accurate and time saving installation on site.
They are sold complete with hardware sets from the Briton range.
Most of the hardware is Grade 304 stainless steel with fine brushed finish and colour coated silver on door closers and panic hardware, with alternative finishes available to order.
