Courts centralise services with Interalia XMU
The XMU+ announcement and call processing system from Interalia Communication is helping Essex Magistrates Court consolidate its core support functions.
The XMU+ is providing a single platform to enable the Court to centralise calls from all four offices into one.
The 8-port system is being used to direct callers to the correct location or offer them a telephone number to dial if enquiring about fine accounts or fixed penalties.
It is using a menu configuration, directing callers to: Fine account and maintenance enquiries, Case Listings; Legal Aid; Liquor Licensing; Court Results and enquiries, Convictions and Appeals and Family Proceedings.
