Integrated Environmental Solutions launches non-domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Accredited Energy Assessor Training.

Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) ltd announce the availability of Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Accredited Energy Assessor Training Sessions for IES's software Starting on 31 st January 2008 these sessions are suitable for those looking to become accredited to provide EPC's for all commercial buildings across England and Wales

The sessions will be linked to CIBSE Certification's Low Carbon Consultant Energy Assessor scheme, which was approved by the CLG on the 10 th January 2008.

Within England and Wales non-domestic EPCs can only be created by Accredited Energy Assessors using approved SBEM or Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) tools.

It is a CLG requirement that Energy Assessors demonstrate their level of competence in this software.

The Energy Assessors Accredited level of ability on these SBEM and DSM tools dictates which grade of building (level 3, 4 or 5) they can create EPC's for.

Only Energy Assessors accredited on DSM tools (level 5) can create EPC's valid for any building regardless of size and complexity.

IES's Compliance software will shortly include tools capable of producing EPC's by both the SBEM and DSM routes.

Therefore, IES software users trained via its Accredited Energy Assessor training will be able to produce EPC's for all commercial buildings (levels 3, 4 and 5) using either calculation method.

The IES training sessions cover how to use the IES Compliance tool to perform PartL2 (England and Wales) compliance checks for non-dwellings and how to and create EPCs.

Options suitable for both existing customers and new users are available, ensuring that applicants can become Accredited Energy Assessors at the minimum time and cost outlay for them.

Top-up sessions are also available for existing CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants (design) or (simulation) at discounted rates.

While software able to auto-generate EPCs for commercial buildings in Scotland is already available, alongside relevant training.

Customers should contact IES on 0141 945 8500 or partl@iesve.com to discuss their individual requirements.

Page 2 PRESS RELEASE IES is the only software provider able to offer complete compliance solutions for all regions of the UK.

Ireland) and Section 6 (Scotland).
