Cempoint in the 'hundreds'
Mortar, formulated specifically to assist rigid construction of streetscape works and provide the necessary strength and durability in 'The Hundred' and Latimer Street in the centre of Romsey.
By re-allocating carriageway space in favour of wider footways and providing defined crossing points for pedestrians, Hampshire County Council, in conjunction with Test Valley Borough Council, has created a more pleasant and safe environment for both the local residents and visitors to the Hampshire market town of Romsey The recently completed 26-week, £750K enhancement scheme, in 'The Hundred' and Latimer Street in the centre of the town, has successfully balanced the needs of all users, i.e pedestrians, the disabled and cyclists, as well as through traffic and access for delivery vehicles

As well as flags, slabs and setts, Cempoint is also suitable for pointing brickwork, block work and stone walling.
Pedestrian access to all retail, business and residential properties was maintained throughout the Romsey project.
Councillor Keith Estlin, the County Council's Executive Member for Environment commented, "There is little doubt that this major scheme has provided a safer and more pleasant environment for pedestrians".
" Inevitably there was some disruption whilst the work was carried out, but car parks and businesses maintained operations as normal".
Test Valley Borough Council's Environment Portfolio holder, Councillor Tony Jackson said "The enhancements will encourage people to take advantage of the local car parking and visit more shops while they are in the town".
" I am sure that the enhancement scheme will prove very good for Romsey as a whole".
