Ultracrete Zorbit recyclable spill absorbent

Ultracrete Zorbit, the latest product in Instarmac's Ultracrete Range, provides a quick and easy solution to deal with spills instantaneously, to help minimise down time.

Ultracrete Zorbit has been put to the ultimate test in Instarmac's own warehouse.

An acrylic polymer emulsion, used as a priming agent for floor toppings, was spilled in Instarmac's warehouse.

The spillage needed to be cleared up rapidly to prevent any staining on the factory floor.

With Ultracrete Zorbit recyclable spill absorbent, their workforce were able to remove the spill immediately.

Recycle centers that are distributed around the warehouse were on hand as soon as the spill happened - in past scenarios spills would have taken time to clear and potentially could have left a stain on the floor.

The unique qualities of this product have demonstrated to Instarmac and many of it customers, its advantages.

Not only is it efficient in the rapid cleaning up of spills on carriageways, it is astounding for the cleaning of spillages from many different surfaces.

These results are achieved through highly modified plant fibres that are extremely efficient in the rapid absorption of hydrocarbon spillages.

The fibre structure has an ultra-high affinity for oils and gives unequalled performance in spill containment and control.

The unique 'Oil lock system' allows the oil spill to be pulled inside the inherent fibrous structure where it is then maintained until separated through the recycle centre.

With this system the oil is not able to migrate in the presence of water or under mechanical pressure resulting in a safe, slip-free surface.

Because of its high absorbing performance Zorbit eliminates the need to use expensive absorbent pads and booms or socks, whilst reducing this type of waste to landfill.

When used in conjunction with each other the recycle centre recovers, reduces and reuses a high proportion of Ultracrete Zorbit recyclable spill absorbent, making it highly cost efficient, whilst reducing landfill waste.
