Ultra Floor products used in school sports halls

Two school sports halls have been transformed with Ultra Floor sub-floor preparation materials from Instarmac Group.

The school halls required sub-floor preparation and a new floor covering.

Ultra Floor levelling compound, Level IT Smoothflow, was selected.

When working on large flooring projects effective application plays an important role in timely completion.

Ultra Floor Level IT Smoothflow is suitable for trowel application, yet formulated so effective flow can be achieved when applied by pump.

Such flow characteristics allow for optimum coverage, resulting in a thin, strong and level underlayment.

Prior to the application of Level IT Smoothflow the concrete substrate in both halls was prepared with Ultra Floor DPM IT two coat to create a waterproof surface membrane.

This was then primed with Ultra Floor Prime IT N, to enhance the bond of Level IT Smoothflow.

Pumping Level IT Smoothflow into the sports halls took approximately 1 1/2 hours and once dry, Taraflex Sport M Plus synthetic indoor sports floor was laid, with court line markings completing the floor installation.
