Seminar on external wall insulation
Seminar for Specifiers at The Building Centre, London, to discuss award winning new build projects using external wall insulation
The colour can be red, white or cool blue! Bright white has long been a popular 'colour' for insulated renders, but now designers are using through-coloured insulated renders to design with colour.
How colour plays an important role in the design of sustainable buildings is the theme for this year's Seminar and Exhibition, sponsored by the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA).
Leading this discussion will be Charles Cooke of HOK Sport Architecture, who will talk in conjunction with colour consultant, Sophie Smallhorn.
The venue for the Seminar and Exhibition will be the famous Arsenal's Emirates Stadium - and a tour is possible, dependent on sufficient interest.
Chairing the Seminar will be well known and popular architect and TV broadcaster, Maxwell Hutchinson, who made an important contribution to last year's event.
He will also be reviewing the winners for the 2007 Andy Swan Awards featuring the best of external wall insulation projects - and presenting the trophies to the overall winners.
Architects from the two main winners for the best new residential apartments and public building will be discussing their projects.
Architects, builders and registered social landlords are invited to attend the Seminar and meet the industry over lunch, at no cost to specifiers - and visit the adjoining exhibition, which will feature the latest in external wall insulation systems and finishes.
Entry to the Seminar and Exhibition is by personal invitation only.
Apply to the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (details below).
Priority will be given to specifiers, then members of INCA.
