Podium Steps - Safety At Work

An Interlink Alloy Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 10, 2004

Interlink Alloy Systems Ltd of Waltham Abbey Essex are leading the way in the manufacture of a product to solve a particular access problem, most commonly found on building sites.

With the ever increasing emphasis on safety at work, and risk assessments, builders steps are now being outlawed by safety officers in favour of the Podium Steps which provides a safe working platform with 360degree access to work.

Originally developed in conjunction with Generation Access of West Drayton the Podium Steps answered the problem and are fast becoming one of their most popular products.

Hire Station, Broughton Plant, Mr Plant and Allytower Services are just some of the hire outlets who have incorporated them into their hire fleet and with an average of 15-20 week capital cost recovery, they are proving one of their most profitable items of plant.

Interlink's policy of innovative design development has added the Podium Steps to their already extensive range of products which include, Aluminium Towers, Folding towers, Stairdeck Stairway Towers and Lighting Beams.
