Drayton Heating Controls has launched a new family of heating controllers for the domestic heating market The new Easy programmable thermostat range is ideal for the social housing sector where simple operation reduces the need for installer call-backs to reset the programmer

Available in three models, the new range of Easy Controls offers all the advantages of electronic controls with a simple and familiar analogue clock timer.

The models are mains or battery powered, offering the homeowner and installer greater flexibility on where to position the controller.

The three models feature unique characteristics designed for greater choice and flexibility for the customer, including an automatic function for programmed or timed heating and frost protection for added safety.

The additional modes include continuous heat and continuous setback.

The battery operated version is the Easy 2 clock thermostat with a two wire connection.

The key benefit of Easy 2 clock thermostat is that it does not need to be installed near to a mains socket, providing the homeowner with the flexibility to choose the position of the control unit within the home.

The Easy 3 product is a mains powered clock thermostat with an optional remote sensor which will enable the homeowner to measure the temperature in different rooms, providing greater control over comfort levels within the home.

In addition, the Easy 3f mains powered control is designed for use with underfloor heating systems.

Sean Collins-Powell comments: "The product has been designed to be easy to use, which is reflected in its name - the Easy product range".

"Feedback from our customers has shown that the dial control is a very popular format as it is very simple and easy to use".

"The control is particularly good for the social housing sector where call backs are most common".

Operating within five modes, the homeowner is able to have much greater control of their home environment, with the option to set the control at different temperatures during the day and night according to their requirements.

The control can also be set to frost protection to provide peace of mind to homeowners when they are away from home or automatic, providing heat as and when required.

All three sensors are housed in a white hinged control unit, ideally suited to all internal environments and easily mountable on the adapter frame.
