Lightweight pre-insulated PEX pipes, called INSUPEX, are the latest innovation from heating and plumbing specialists IPPEC.

The plastic pipes are quick and simple to install compared with jointed metal pipes and offer benefits in terms of low maintenance as they are joint-free and durable.

INSUPEX offers an all-in-one solution for distributing hot water in the ground externally in the most cost-effective way.

The PEX pipe with its insulation and conduit is of the highest quality.

The insulation material is made of cross-linked polyethelene which gives high insulation value yet is flexible and light and non absorbent to water.

The double wall conduit protects the insulation and the pipe.

A full range of pipes in diameters ranging from 3/4" to 3-1/2" id is supplied mostly from stock.

INSUPEX pipes are available in a twin pipe format up to 1-1/2"id.

The pipe can be ordered to a specific length.

Mr D Lornie - a specifier who has used INSUPEX - says it is inconceivable to go back to jointed metal pipes and insulating it on the job when ready insulated INSUPEX is both easy and quick to lay, which guarantees a leak-free solution.
