Underfloor heating system needs less
depth
An innovative new underfloor heating system has been introduced that requires much less floor depth and is therefore ideal for use in existing buildings.
An innovative new underfloor heating system has been introduced that requires much less floor depth and is therefore ideal for use in existing buildings Underfloor heating systems are now widely used in new buildings which need the extra floor depth for insulation to be included

Another Solution For Insulated Pipework
INSUPEX pre-insulated PEX pipes, introduced last year by IPPEC, the lightweight plastic pipes save time and money when installed in ground or cold voids compared with jointed metal pipes.
Improved Range Of MULTIZONER Wiring Centres
Improved range of MULTIZONER wiring centres for radiators and Pexatherm underfloor heating systems.
This often causes a problem in existing buildings with solid ground floors, which may not have the required floor depth to accommodate standard underfloor heating systems.
This could lead to UFH systems - electric or water - being installed without any insulation in the floor, which increases the heat lost in the floor and the running costs by allowing heat to escape downward.
The Pexatherm New Thin UFH system offers the solution as it uses much less dense insulation than traditional methods and a new technique of spreading heat without using cumbersome thick screed.
The 25mm thick high quality PU type insulation is used to reduce floor heat losses and is foiled with a thick gauge aluminium heat distribution sheet.
The boards are grooved at regular intervals and accept IPPEC's PEX 14 mm od pipe or its 10 mm electric cable.
Floorboards, laminates and mineral fibre board is laid directly over this special insulation.
The Pexatherm Thin System provides UFH comfort with new covering for the existing floor yet occupying less than 50 mm of floor depth.
The electric cable is now supplied with a new low cost thermostat programmer.
While the water-based pipe system is supplied with the new all-in-one Pexatherm pump mixer and manifold set for ease of installation and operation.
Now areas up to 40 sq.
m can benefit from the advantages of comfortable radiator-free underfloor heating.
