Iris Ceramica at COSMOPROF 2005

Iris Ceramica was at the 38th COSMOPROF fair with Maletti, a group of leading suppliers of furniture and accessories for beauty and hairstyling salons.

COSMOPROF 2005 - The beauty event COSMOPROF, the leading international trade fair held every year for the beauty and wellness industry, closed recently.

Iris Ceramica was at the 38th COSMOPROF fair with Maletti, a group of leading suppliers of furniture and accessories for beauty and hairstyling salons.

Every year COSMOPROF provides a showcase of new developments and trends in the beauty industry in Bologna.

This year's event featured bigger exhibition areas, better organised in terms of market sectors (hairstyling, beauty, perfumery and cosmetics packaging).

Conceived as a modern gallery of design, the Maletti stand in Hall 33 saw the launch of Organic Dreams, a complete range of furnishings for hair salons designed by Ross Lovegrove, the line A Little Talk by Didier Gomez of France, Easy Line, a youthful collection by Guido Maletti, and of course the company's classic items designed by big names in contemporary design.

The Maletti group also presented its Nilo brand at the beauty salon, a line of furniture and equipment for spas and beauty centres.

One of the three cabins set up by Nilo in Hall 25 was equipped with furniture and accessories designed by the famous architect Claudio Silvestrin.

Products with futuristic lines were set off by tiles from the Format and Metal Line collections by Iris Ceramica, which supplied all the floor and wall coverings for the Maletti design gallery and Nilo wellness cabins.

Their high tech look was perfect for setting off the features of Iris Ceramica porcelain tile, resistant to oils and other products used in beauty salons.
