Textile, the new collection by Iris Ceramica for the bathroom

Fabric textures for the bathroom - an explosion of new colours, modular formats and accessories that look as if they have been printed on fabric.

Textile, the new collection by Iris Ceramica for the bathroom.

Spring is in the air and it's time to get rid of the usual old shades in the bathroom and bring in a palette of colours which change according to the light, just like fabric.

Coral red, orange, yellow, turquoise and green apple can be combined at will with white to create a blend of colour and design which transforms ceramic tiles from a background element to the absolute protagonist of the bathroom.

There are two wall tile formats (7 7/8x7 7/8" and 9 6/8x13 1/8", to be arranged horizontally or vertically) and both of these are available in two versions: with a smooth finish hinting at a screen-printed textile effect, and grooved with fine incisions that seem to have been especially designed to stimulate the touch as well as the eyes.

The simple alternation of formats is enough to create a new balance on the walls, though they can be made even more precious with strings of pearls, coloured transparencies and borders with patterns that are typical of fabrics, thus creating a wallpaper effect.

These single-fired white body wall tiles are more resistant than textile ones, they are easy to wash and do not absorb smells or humidity.

Each colour has its own 13 1/8x13 1/8" glazed porcelain floor tile that is hard-wearing, stainproof and colourproof.
