IRIS makes bookkeeping easy for small
businesses
IRIS has announced the launch of IRIS Bookkeeping, a solution designed for start-ups and small businesses which aims to make 'keeping the books' even easier.
IRIS Bookkeeping forms part of a family of new products, including payroll and HR, all written by IRIS in latest Microsoft.net technology and designed for both the SME single company and the bureau user IRIS bookkeeping integrates with the IRIS payroll system which is used by 25,000 small businesses in the UK, and allows data to be imported into the IRIS practice suite (specifically Accounts Production and Time and Fees) which is used by over 4,600 practices

The software makes it simple to send reports to Microsoft Excel allowing further manipulation of data and increased flexibility for analysis.
Reports can also be exported in other file formats including pdfs.
Useful features such as a start up wizard steps the user through the process of inputting company data, automatically selecting the chart of accounts most suited to the type of business.
