Irwin Measures Up With Strait-Line Sonic Measure
With the introduction of the Strait-Line Laser Targeted Sonic Measure, the Irwin Industrial Tool Company is revolutionising the task of measuring.
The Sonic Measure is a fast and efficient estimating tool, which could leave traditional tape measures piled up on the scrap heap.
Irwin's new Strait-Line Sonic Measure is an innovative alternative to steel tape measures, offering a laser targeted measure for distances from 60cm - 15m (2-50 feet) with an accuracy of +/- 0.5%.
With simple 'point and press' functions and a liquid crystal display, the Sonic Measure can record and memorise length, width or volumes at the press of a button.
Moreover, it can quickly convert measurements from imperial to metric and back again.
Quick and convenient, the Strait-Line Sonic Measure is ideal for estimating materials required for painting, decorating or fitting flooring.
In addition, it saves time when calculating volumes for the installation of central heating.
Jenny Gavin, Product Manager at Irwin, commented: "All Strait-Line electronic tools have been designed following extensive end user research, which showed that both the professional tradesman and DIYer wanted tools that saved time and made layout and measuring tasks simpler.
The Strait-Line Sonic Measure is the latest product resulting from this research.
As with all other tools in this range, including the Laser Line Generator and Stud Finder, the Sonic Measure uses the latest technology to achieve this.".
