Irwin launch its new range of high performance jig saw blades, hole saws and reciprocating blades, making up a unique linear edge product range for the professional market.

The Irwin Industrial Tool Company, the UK's leading manufacturer of hand tools and power tool accessories, has recently launched its new range of high performance jig saw blades, hole saws and reciprocating blades, making up a unique linear edge product range for the professional market Each of Irwin's innovative products within the linear edge range has been purposely engineered to meet a variety of diverse requirements whilst working with wood, metal or plastics, offering high quality products at affordable prices

This high-performance range has been produced from the highest quality materials and has been specifically designed to better serve the needs of today's hard working professionals.

Irwin's durable range of jig saw blades are tailored to suit a range of applications and are produced from quality materials including HCS carbon steel and HSS fully hardened steel for increased performance.

The HCS blades are best suited for materials such as wood, laminated chipboard and plastics, whilst HSS blades are ideal for cutting metal, aluminium, and non-ferrous metal.

The range is complimented with Irwin's highly flexible bi-metal blade, a combination of HCS and HSS steel suitable for most demanding and diverse applications.

The Irwin jig saw blades include both Bosch and Universal style tangs to fit all of today's most popular power tool machines and the colour-coded packaging ensures easy identification, allowing for easy allocation of the correct blade for each application.

Designed to provide long lasting performance for use in general construction, the Irwin bi-metal hole saw provides a faster cutting action due to the sharp variable tooth design, with adaptable depth gullets for more efficient chip clearance.

The bi-metal construction and the electron beam welded teeth both provide the user with a stronger, longer lasting blade.

The Irwin hole saw range is available with a line-up of high quality arbors and a pilot drill to cover all requirements.

The comprehensive range of Irwin reciprocating saw blades are ideal for heavy-duty applications in wood and metal, spanning across five categories, including metal cutting, metal and wood, nail embedded wood, wood-cutting and demolition.

Ian McLaren, Product Manager for Irwin commented: "Irwin saw blades have long been the choice of professionals.

The addition of these new jig, bi-metal hole, and reciprocating saw blades perfectly compliment our existing range, offering professionals the high standards in strength and durability that they have become accustomed to.

"These blades have benefited from superior construction and design making them faster cutting and longer lasting, therefore offering the user an impressive cost-per-cut value.

Blade identification has been simplified with colour-coded packaging and clear labelling to ensure that the relevant tool is applied to the correct application.".
