Irwin's electronic evolution
Irwin Industrial Tool Company has launched its next generation of Strait-Line" tools, which offer a modern alternative to the traditional plumbline.
Driving forward the development of electronic tool design, the Irwin Industrial Tool Company has launched its next generation of Strait-Line" tools, stretching the boundaries of modern tool design, promoted under the theme, "Get it right first time." This groundbreaking series, which offers a modern alternative to the traditional plumbline, includes two new advanced versions of Irwin's ingenious Strait-Line, Laser Line Generator, the LLG30 and the LLG120.
The range also features an industry first with the Straight-Line, Rolling measure100 (RT100), a fully electronic measuring tape.
The new LLG120 includes a fully integrated swivel base and four adhesive pads to allow secure fixing to practically any surface, including aircrete blocks, plaster, plasterboard, timber, and fireboard.
Comprehensive preset angle positions allow for quick alignment of the angled beam to improve accuracy and overall precision of the tool.
The improved LLG120 also includes an innovative Stud Finder offering fast and accurate results for its professional and DIY end users.
The unique inclusive base allows for both circulatory and vertical movement, resulting in the easy lengthening or shortening of the beam for greater control.
The 360 degree rotation of the Swivel Base means lines can be marked at different angles and its unique tilting feature allows the density of the line to be enhanced and length to be increased by up to 80%.
The compact LLG30 has been specifically designed for home applications and includes an attached swivel base with full 360 degree rotation capabilities.
Like the LLG120, the LLG30 contains two bubble viles for increased accuracy on both the horizontal and vertical planes and can be secured using its four adhesive pads.
Projecting a laser beam for 4.5m, the Strait-Line, Laser Line Generator range is far quicker and more convenient than traditional plumb lines and is easy for users to operate alone without the need for a second person.
The final addition to Irwin's electronic tool range is the new Strait-Line,Rolling measure RT100, a fast and efficient measuring tool that offers an innovative alternative to traditional tape measures.
With easy to use menu driven functions, the tool can be used to measure and divide distances up to 99m.
Containing a simple 'point and press' function and liquid crystal display, the RT100 is set to revolutionise the measuring world with it's ease of use, practicality and innovative nature.
With an accuracy of +/- 1.5mm, the RT100 is perfect for household applications where accuracy is essential, such as hanging pictures or measuring surfaces.
By doing the maths itself the tool divides walls and surfaces into equal segments, making it ideal for use in the home.
Measurements can be displayed in either metric or imperial measurements, and the tool comes complete with a robust belt clip for ease of transportation.
