Irwin Tools has launched the new Irwin XPERT, the latest innovation in saws.

Irwin Tools, the UK's leading hand tool and power tool accessory manufacturer, has launched the new IRWIN XPERT, the latest innovation in saws IRWIN is renowned for being at the cutting edge of tool technology and this new innovative product is no exception

The IRWIN XPERT is the best you can get, with a winning combination of speed and efficiency to give the best cutting performance yet.

Focused on the needs of professional tradesmen, IRWIN undertook research amongst thousands of end-users Worldwide, which highlighted that the most important features when purchasing a new saw are teeth quality and durability, together with rigidity and grip.

The IRWIN XPERT has all of these features covered with several patent pending designs for tooth geometry and configuration, as well as a unique easy-start mechanism on the Toolbox Saw.

IRWIN has worked in conjunction with The University of Northumbria for over two years throughout the research and development process to ensure the design of the XPERT saws delivers the highest possible performance.

The optimisation of the angles and critical dimensions of each tooth means that the IRWIN XPERT offers the user the ultimate cutting performance in all materials and boasts a perfectly geometrical 1mm thick blade for maximum stability whilst cutting.

The IRWIN XPERT also benefits from a large handle allowing a reduced gripping force, a soft grip for comfort during prolonged use, soft grip finger rests for both left and right handed cutting and useful 45 and 90 degree marking for mitre cuts.

The IRWIN XPERT features innovative triple ground teeth (patent pending TGT technology), which have three cutting faces, meaning the saw cuts on the push, pull and downward strokes.

Triple ground teeth are 25 per cent more efficient and a remarkable 40 per cent faster than double ground (universal) teeth to give the ultimate cutting performance.

Most saws in the XPERT range are available with low friction PTFE coating that is proven to give a 25-50 per cent improvement in efficiency and wear resistance.

The IRWIN XPERT range provides the end user with a saw for all materials: Fine - ideal for cutting hardwood and for accurate finishing cuts; Coarse - suitable for cutting laminated boards, plasterboard and fast ripping cuts (this saw also features innovative deep gullets for enhanced performance through greater removal of waste); Universal - for all round versatility and cutting performance in cutting softwoods and board materials; and the Speciality range, which includes Light Concrete saws, Tenon saws and Veneer saws.

Jason Metcalf, IRWIN Marketing Director, commented: "Irwin already has a fantastic reputation amongst tradesmen for producing high quality saws and the Irwin XPERT will definitely exceed all expectations".

"Our research has shown that tradesmen look for a combination of brand, quality and price when purchasing new tools and the XPERT range lives up to all of these requirements to make the most innovative and desirable saw on the market today.".
