Series of major design innovations make the Irwin new Speedhammer range of drill bits, for use with SDS drills, faster and tougher.

The new faster Speedhammer range from Irwin - It's time to reconsider the double flute Irwin Industrial Tools is so confident that their new Speedhammer range of drill bits are the fastest and strongest on the market, they claim that once you have tried them you won't go back.

A series of major design innovations make the Irwin new Speedhammer range of drill bits, for use with SDS* drills, faster and tougher.

They benefit from a radical new twist on the single flute design, which really speeds up drilling times.

With 28 per cent greater flute capacity, drilling time is up to a staggering 30 per cent faster.

The innovations offer it all.

Extra Speed.

Extra Strength.

Less clogging.

And less effort to use.

Several years of extensive research went into identifying what professionals wanted most.

That is why the new Speedhammer range from Irwin delivers the extra speed and durability they asked for.

Against leading competitors, Irwin's unique design is the clear speed leader.

The new Speedhammer range of purpose-designed drill bits have been developed for faster drilling through concrete.

Whether for everyday use, for tougher applications or for specific jobs such as masonry, granite or cordless operation, Irwin has the tough, easy-to-use and above all, fast drill bit professionals need.

SPEEDHAMMER PLUS.

Speed is what sets Irwin's Speedhammer Plus drill bits apart.

With 28 per cent greater flute capacity the innovative single flute design goes straight in and straight out of a range of industrial materials, removing dust and debris at high speed.

Its 'clog-free' performance also makes the new Speedhammer Plus particularly efficient when used in uncured concrete.

SPEEDHAMMER MAX.

The aggressive angles of the new Speedhammer Max from Irwin, result in a drill bit which is 30 per cent faster than traditional designs.

In addition to the new single flute design, Speedhammer Max has a range of added advantages.

Its new patented four-cutter carbide head design increases durability and allows for a shortened head, which assists in shifting dust directly into the ultra efficient single flute.

Tests also identified that when coupled with an optimum cutting angle of 53 degrees, the new tip design provides the most aggressive cutting performance on the market, with even faster waste evacuation.

A faster drill bit also means a safer drill bit.

By reducing the length of time required to drill, the unavoidable vibrations caused by SDS drilling are also reduced.

Irwin has therefore created a product with the potential to lessen the associated health risks for many professionals.

Thomas Schlieter, marketing manager at Irwin comments: "Our new Speedhammer designs have been in development for a number of years now and we are confident that we have developed a winning formula".

"With its innovative new design and unrivalled performance, this is a product which will change the future of SDS drilling.".
