Safetybrake responds to safety needs
Safetybrake brings a 100 year old roller shutter door design up to modern safety standards.
The age old Roller Shutter Door has come under fire recently with new anti-drop safety regulations.
The regulations for counterbalanced Roller Shutters have been largely ignored making many types of Roller Shutter unmarketable.
The Safetybrake design was developed by Cambridge innovator Alan Young in response to the current regulations and safety issues.
Test certification by TUV Rheinland has proved the capability of the Patented devices which are now available to European Industrial Door manufacturers for incorporation into their Roller Shutter designs.
The innovative new safety device offers benefits never seen before, such as counter balance spring strength monitoring every cycle, which will induce the end user to fulfill their service obligations.
Inspection and service of commercial Roller Shutter doors is an area routinely neglected, but unfortunately even regular maintenance can not predict a suspension spring failure - constant monitoring is the only way to be sure.
