Apax Partners hands London HQ fit out to ISG

ISG InteriorExterior awarded GBP7.3 million project by Apax Partners to fit out the global private equity group's new London headquarters building in London.

ISG InteriorExterior has been awarded a GBP7.3 million project by Apax Partners to fit out the global private equity group's new London headquarters building in the West End.

The fast-track fit out programme sees the contractor working across 74,500 sq ft of prime office accommodation within the newly constructed nine-storey office building.

Apax Partners will occupy floors three to seven of the building, with ISG InteriorExterior delivering a high specification Category B fit out programme.

A key element of the project includes the installation of a feature stainless steel staircase on floors three to five, where the company's main open plan office accommodation is located, and a bronze staircase between the two upper floor levels.

An impressive staff restaurant facility will be created on the third floor, with a commercial kitchen installation on the seventh floor, providing a fine dining capability for the organisation.

The upper two levels are dedicated to client meeting rooms, with a landscaped terrace on the sixth floor affording panoramic views of the city skyline.

On the ground floor, ISG InteriorExterior will create an impressive double height reception area and install a luxury gym on the basement level.

The project also sees the contractor carrying out a Category A fit out to the first and second floors of the new office building, with the entire scheme scheduled for completion by October 2007.
