Isomass SOLO acoustic floor recognised
at ecobuild
Isomass launched their new SOLO acoustic overlay board at Ecobuild 2008 and very quickly gained important recognition by Mark Elton, director of sustainability at ECD Architects.
Mark selected just five innovative companies within the huge array at ecobuild and Isomass was one of the few "smaller guys with arguably more interesting products", as featured within the well respected Architects Journal The new SOLO system combines recycled straw or wood chipboard and an Ecoflex castor-oil based foam
Tested by the acoustic division of the NHBC (National House Builders Confederation), it is great for refurbishment projects as it performs well as an overlay board with a direct fix ceiling allowing the existing structure to be retained.
Listed and historic buildings can retain their original integrity and features whilst significantly increasing acoustic performance.
Isomass have applied for a patent on this innovative new product.
Yet another exciting new develoment in the company's short, yet impressive debut.
