ISG secures Unilever head office fit out

ISG has secured a multi-million GBP project with Unilever to fit out its new UK business head office at Business Park 5 in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The fast-track project sees the contractor fit out approximately 170,000 sq ft of office space at the recently constructed building, with Unilever due to take occupation by autumn 2008.

Consistently one of the UK's top 100 companies to work for, Unilever, which owns a range of household brands including Dove, Flora, Persil, PG tips, Sure and Wall's, has made a key investment in the personal vitality of its staff at its new head office.

ISG will form an impressive, high specification gym and well-being complex in the building's under croft, as well as a large staff restaurant area on the ground floor.

The high quality commercial office fit out also includes the construction of a number of innovative product demonstration areas and professional kitchens within the building.

Careful consideration has also been given to minimising the environmental impact of the new building, which features some of the latest technology to reduce its overall carbon footprint.

The majority of space will be open plan in format, with no executive offices, however ISG will build a variety of meeting rooms and breakout spaces and upgrade existing mechanical and electrical services.
