ISG Totty Building has been awarded a project to upgrade facilities and build a new maintenance depot at the historic community park at Birkenhead Park.

ISG Totty Building has been awarded a £325K project by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council at Birkenhead Park.

The scheme will see the company upgrade facilities and build a new maintenance depot at the historic community park, which is designated a Grade I Listed Landscape by English Heritage.

Once constructed, the new two-storey steel frame maintenance depot will provide secure storage, office accommodation, a canteen and changing rooms for staff at Birkenhead Park.

ISG Totty Building will also erect secure fencing around the compound, provide additional hard standing and refurbish an existing storage shed at the site.

The scheme is scheduled for completion in December.

Philip Ryder, managing director of ISG Totty Building, commented: "Since opening our first ever dedicated regional office in Manchester in 2004, ISG Totty Building has established an enviable reputation within the North-West as a high quality contractor that delivers on its promises".

"By forging strong partnerships with key public sector and private clients, ISG Totty Building is securing an increasing share of contracts up to £2 million in value within the region, and demonstrating its clear commitment to support clients across the North of England.".
