ISG Totty win Ashton Moss Hotel development

ISG Totty framework deal with De Vere Group includes GBP14 million project for a new Village Hotel at the Ashton Moss Leisure Park.

ISG Totty has been appointed to an influential framework deal with De Vere Group, and has kicked this partnership off with a GBP14 million project for the hotel and leisure group in the North-West.

The scheme will see the contractor build a new Village Hotel at the Ashton Moss Leisure Park, which is located close to Manchester at junction 23 of the M60.

Village has ambitious plans to expand its contemporary and stylish brand concept throughout the UK and aims to open 10 new hotels a year.

Work on the construction of the 120 bed, four-storey hotel and adjoining two-storey leisure club at the 3.5 acre Ashton Moss site, has now commenced, with completion expected by the Spring of 2008.

Occupying a prominent position adjacent to the M60, the new hotel will make an immediate visual impact, with majority curtain walling and powder coated louvers to its facade, and feature rain screen finishes at both ends of the building.

This stylish, contemporary design is continued through into the hotel, with ISG Totty utilising high quality materials throughout the building to create a cool and sophisticated ambience for guests.

High specification guest rooms will feature WiFi broadband connectivity, flat screen televisions and contemporary furnishings.

A number of different dining venues are available within the hotel and its impressive 4,000 sq ft leisure club facility, including the victory pub and kitchen, vibe cafe and the verve bar and grill.

Two state-of-the-art flexible function suites and meeting rooms, with moveable partition walls and breakout areas, provide high quality accommodation for both business and private use.

The adjoining comprehensively equipped leisure club - velocity health and leisure - will include a 25m swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, with a large open plan gym complex on the second floor.
