Latest Manchester City Council framework project

An ISG plc product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 27, 2007

ISG Totty Building secure its latest project with Manchester City Council, under its four year partnering framework deal, with GBP215K project at Briscoe Lane Primary School in Newton Heath.

The fast-track project will be carried out during the summer term holiday period to minimise any potential disruption to both pupils and staff at the highly regarded primary school.

The contractor commences work to strip the existing roof across the Infant and Nursery School at the end of July.

ISG Totty Building will then install a new high performance insulated flat roof system at the school, as well as replacing a number of existing windows and carrying out any associated repair work to the building's facade.

Gary Hughes, construction director at ISG Totty Building, commented: "Manchester City Council's small works programme continues to generate a wealth of opportunities for ISG, with projects that make a real difference and help to enhance local communities".

"This latest scheme at Briscoe Lane Primary School has demanded robust planning from the outset and a reduced schedule of works to ensure completion of the new roof ahead of the new academic year.".
