ISG Dean and Bowes has been awarded the contract to refurbish the St Albans high street store for mobile phones services provider, T-Mobile.
This latest project will be the 58th to be carried out by the national refurbishment and fit-out specialist for T-Mobile so far this year.
As one of three preferred contractors, ISG Dean and Bowes has been a key contributor to the massive programme of new build and refurbishment projects implemented by the mobile giant in 2006.
T-Mobile's target is to open its 250th store in the UK and 1,000th store in Europe before the end of this financial year.
Work at the St Albans store will include stripping the existing units to bare shells, putting in new shopfitting fixtures, installing sprung hardwood floors and inserting false ceilings throughout, complete with designer lighting.
ISG Dean and Bowes MD Jim Parker is delighted with this latest win from one of the firm's leading retail clients: "Over the last 3 years, we have proved our ability to deliver the type of fast-track projects required by T-Mobile.
This win is a testament to the close relationships we have developed with this client over recent years.
We have enjoyed watching T-Mobile go from strength to strength and playing our part in its quick-fire spread across the UK's high streets.
"With over 80% of our refurbishment work arising from repeat business, we are absolutely committed to giving our customers a first-class service to repay the trust that has been vested in us.
This win - and the volume of work we have undertaken for T-Mobile over the last 12 months - is a clear vindication of that approach." Mike Fernandez, head of T-Mobile's project team, comments: "ISG Dean and Bowes is a valued partner.
We appreciate the effort that the team has put in to developing this relationship, working hard to deliver the best results and contributing to the refurbishment roll-out process.
They are now part of our national, quality assured supply chain - and we look forward to working with them on future stores in 2007".
ISG Dean and Bowes also lists Argos, DC Leisure, HSBC, Monsoon, Next, Primark and University of Cambridge among its blue-chip client base.
