Site Safety Awarness And Preparation For The CSCS Health And Safety Test for Civil Engineering Surveyors The Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors' (ICES) new training course, Site Safety Awareness and Preparation for the CSCS Health and Safety Test will run on Wednesday 18th February at the Institution's Head Office training suite in Sale, Cheshire This new course has been added to the Institution's course programme following the introduction of the Construction Safety Certificate Scheme (CSCS), which now requires all construction operatives, technicians and management to take the CSCS Health and Safety Test

Nominations for the Geospatial Engineering Surveyor Award for 2004 are now being accepted by the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
The course is designed to offer civil engineering surveyor operatives, technicians and managers, who are in the process of preparing for the CSCS Health and Safety Test, with an update on health and safety legislation, guidance on safe working methods whilst on-site, an overview of the new Construction Safety Certificate Scheme and an outline of the requirements for the CSCS Health and Safety Test.
The course will cover the following topics: Essential Health and Safety Legislation Identification of Hazards and Risks Safe Methods of Working and Good Health and Safety Practice On-site Overview of the Construction Safety Certificate Scheme Guidance for the CSCS Health and Safety Test This one-day course is useful for civil engineering surveyors at all career levels who are preparing to take the CSCS Health and Safety Test and is open to ICES members and non-members.
There is a delegate fee of £140 excl.
VAT for non-members and a discounted fee of £115 excl.
VAT for ICES members, which includes buffet lunch, refreshments and notes.
