Success for Integral Interiors healthcare projects

An Integral UK product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 15, 2008

Integral Interiors, the fit out and refurbishment division of Integral UK, begins work refurbishing two hospital reception areas for private hospital group BMI Healthcare.

The projects, in BMI The Harbour Hospital, Poole and BMI Bath Clinic, consist of new reception desks, flooring, ceilings, lighting, decorations and alterations to fire and CCTV systems.

The work also includes installing "feature walls" in each hospital constructed of specialist Venetian plaster called "Armourcoat".

Tim Stringer, Divisional Director of Integral Interiors, said the projects were being carried out in a "live" environment - so that the hospitals could function as normal - meaning the work had to be carefully planned and co-ordinated down to the last detail in consultation with the hospital staff and other users.

He said: "These are major project wins for the Interiors division".

"BMI is a new client to Integral and the work we are undertaking is exactly the type of work we specialise in - fast track, high quality and in a live environment".

He added: "The joinery works are being undertaken in conjunction with Simon Kohn (Furniture) , our joint venture joinery partner, and demonstrates the depth of services we are able to offer".

BMI Healthcare is the UK's largest private hospital group.

Integral Interiors, a division of Integral UK which has a client retention rate above 85 per cent, specialises in GBP100k+ fit out and refurbishment projects across all sectors, including design and build.
