New tools and resources from Construction Best Practice (ITCBP) help raise the awareness of benefits of IT in construction.

Construction Best Practice (ITCBP), the government-funded service that helps construction professionals harness the power of IT, continues to raise awareness of the benefits of IT best practice through the services it provides and through the latest outputs and findings from some of the many research projects it supports Some of the latest tools, resources and events include Free case study - Implementing an off-the-shelf intranet solution: Caunton Engineering Ltd implemented an off-the-shelf, intranet-based document management system to draw together data and processes from across the firm's various applications and databases, giving staff and partners a single view of company and project information

Caunton estimates that this has led to cost savings of more than ?30,000 in the first three months of operation.
