New 'Slimline' Switches - For That 'Designer' Look
Intelliswitch is bringing to market a new Slimline range of intelligent touch-control lightswitches, under the brand name, 'The Switch'.
New Lightswitch No Thicker Than Your Wallpaper
A flatplate lightswitch which sits just 1.5mm proud of the wall is being launched by Intelliswitch under the brand name, 'The Switch', as part of two new intelligent touch-control lightswitches.
Switches are available in three metal ranges, Classic, Slimline and Flatplate (with five brass and/or chrome finishes) and one Lifestyle range (plastic finish).
Standard coloured inserts (metal ranges) or snap-on covers (lifestyle range) can be removed and replaced with others chosen from an extensive colour palette, meaning that a match can be achieved for even the brightest of kitchen decors, either co-ordinating or contrasting as required.
Suitable for use with dimmable low voltage lighting, mains halogen and other incandescent bulbs, 'The Switch' represents an ideal product for kitchens as it contains no moving parts and is a sealed unit from the front, meaning no ingress of dirt or moisture.
'The Switch' can even be installed behind a kitchen tile, grouted in place and then used in the normal way, simply by touching the tile instead of the switch! The interchangeable coloured inserts/ snap-on covers and face plates offer huge design opportunities for consumers and kitchen designers alike, a massive step forward from the standard white light switch.
"People seek colour co-ordination throughout a house, so with the functional and safety advantages of our switches in a kitchen environment, coupled with our finish and colour versatility, this product is starting to sell well into the kitchen market," commented Intelliswitch Chairman, Graham Whitworth.
From just £16.99, Intelliswitch products are easy to install, fit existing back boxes and are available with Automatic Timer, Energy Saver and Night Light functions and also in Double (2Gang) or Slave formats.
