The Intelliswitch range in fact features a range of aesthetically pleasing on/off dimmer switches, in a range of finishes, which come as standard on/off dimmer, security timer, energy saver, night light and slave (two-way).
Amon Electronics' owner Eamonn O'Carroll believes the evidence so far suggests that Intelliswitch products are set to be become very popular in Ireland: "As well as selling to wholesalers and retailers, we have offered switches direct to the public at key consumer exhibitions.
While many people have been initially attracted by the security aspect, the appearance of the switches and range of functions available have also helped them to sell." Amon Electronics is now selling the switches through distributors in main Irish cities including Dublin, Cork and Limerick, as well Counties Kildare and Louth, but is also seeking new distributors outside of these areas.
"We are delighted to have sealed this sole distributorship deal with Amon Electronics which will see our range of switches made more readily available to the Irish market", added Intelliswitch Chairman, Graham Whitworth, "Clearly the levels of interest in the product in Ireland are matching those in the mainland UK, where we are rapidly extending our network of distributors as a result of intensifying demand from both installers and the general public.".
