Chris Houchen joins the IFC Group
Chris Houchen has recently joined the IFC Group as a Senior Engineer and as an Associate Director of IFC Certification.
Chris Houchen has recently joined the IFC Group as a Senior Engineer and as an Associate Director of IFC Certification to help reinforce IFC's already substantial fire safety engineering, product development and certification team
Chris has joined IFC to build upon his already considerable 16 years experience in the field of fire consultancy and fire resistance testing.
He previously ran the fire resistance testing facility at TRADA Chiltern, before moving on to product evaluation and engineering assessments.
In more recent years he has also carried out product certification audits across the world, mainly for timber based fire resistant products such as fire doors.
Chris will be primarily based at IFC's Group headquarters near London but will be available to service assignments and clients across the world, including supporting IFC's growing Middle and Far East clients.
