Jackson Construction, the southern-based main contractor, has scooped top honours for its occupational safety practices in the prestigious RoSPA annual awards.
The society's adjudication panel unanimously awarded the Ipswich-based company a gold award in recognition of the continuous health and safety improvements that Jackson's has made over the past year The charity RoSPA was founded some 80 years ago to provide information, advice and resources to businesses on the prevention of accidents, and today its awards programme has a global reputation for highlighting excellence and best practice in safety management

Recent Jackson initiatives have included new guidelines and procedures for stress management, a company driver safety programme and a working-at-height training day.
The company also boasts excellent training facilities, with its very own lecture theatre, and regularly hosts seminar programmes for staff and subcontractors on best practice.
