Jackson Building Services secures a £720K project with Morley Fund Management, at the Gateway Retail Park in Beckton, London.

Jackson Building Services continues to highlight its retail credentials by securing a £720K project with Morley Fund Management, at the Gateway Retail Park in Beckton, London In common with a number of projects that the contractor has won over the last few months, Jackson's will create a new trading unit at the retail park by rationalising space in existing premises

The new unit will be formed in between two trading stores, with the project carefully phased to reduce potential disruption.

The first phase of the 23-week project will see Jackson's completely strip out the vacated space and erect partition walls to form the shell of the new unit.

The final phase involves the installation of new mechanical and electrical services within the unit, remodelling the external facade of the building, construction of new shop fronts and external hard landscaping.

Minor repair work will also be carried out to the roof and cladding panels.

Michael Manning, construction director for Jackson Building Services, commented: "The constant dynamism of out-of-town retail, apparent through changing store formats and tenant mix, is providing the company with an increasing volume of fast track store alteration projects".

"By working closely with financial institutions and developers, we are able to deliver high quality construction solutions through a flexible and considerate approach - adding value at all stages of the process.".
