Jackson Construction Group record forward order book totalling 90m pounds from its main contracting business, Jackson Construction, and special projects division, Jackson Building Services.

The Jackson Construction Group has announced a record forward order book totalling £90 million from its main contracting business, Jackson Construction, and its special projects division, Jackson Building Services This represents a 100 per cent uplift in orders for Jackson Building Services to £10 million, and a 45 per cent rise in orders to £80 million for Jackson Construction

This impressive growth in the company's forward order book has seen Jackson Construction secure work across a comprehensive range of industry sectors, with its Accommodation, Commercial and Public divisions converting new business, forging high profile framework partnerships as well as increasing the number and value of projects from existing clients.

Recent high profile wins include a £7.2 million development to construct an eight-lane competition swimming pool in Braintree, an influential four-year framework deal with national housing provider, Housing 21, a £5.8 million extra care scheme with Sanctuary Housing in Barnet and two projects totalling £5.4 million at Chesterford Research Park near Cambridge.

The Group's fourth division, Jackson Building Services, continues to play a key role in the overall success of the group with growth across all sectors.

The quality and value of contracts awarded to the company continues to highlight the demand for a highly experienced regional small works contractor, covering the entire range of procurement routes and calling upon specialist in-house departments to provide the most cost effective solution.

Latest project awards include a £1.1 million scheme to build office accommodation at Hillside Business Park, Bury St Edmunds, a stand improvement project at the NatWest Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket and a £900K scheme for affordable housing developer Iceni Homes in Colchester.
