Jackson Construction has been awarded a circa £2 million contract to refurbish an existing warehouse in the dockland area of Ipswich into new business units.
This latest project sees the contractor create two new retail units from one large existing store at the popular out-of-town park.
In addition to extensive remodelling of the entrance area, Jackson will also re-roof the retail unit and provide metal cladding finishes to the facade.
An amenity unit will be constructed within one of the new units and the contractor will upgrade the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
The fast track project is due for completion at the beginning of October.
Michael Manning, construction director for Jackson Building Services, commented: "By fostering strong partnerships with leading property owners and successfully delivering projects on time and to a high standard, we continue to raise the profile of the Jackson Building Services brand within the retail sector.".
