Jasun Filtration, the UK's oldest independent air filtration manufacturer, has launched two groundbreaking new systems for the removal and reduction of odours and chemical fumes from the workplace.

Suitable for new or existing installations, the launch of these products comes at a time of increasingly stringent national and European environmental legislation on air quality Jasun Filtration's Chemisorb-Excel is a blend of high-grade carbon and Alumina/Potassium Permangenate that destroys odours, corrosive gases and fumes

Non-toxic, safe and developed for ease of use and disposal, the Chemisorb-Excel's unique combination of filters both adsorbs and removes fumes, odours and pollutant gases from a wide range of contaminants.

These include ammonia, arsine, ethylene, formaldehyde, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide and oxide and sulphur dioxide as well as contaminants normally treated with standard carbon products.

Designed for use with the Chemisorb-Excel or with carbon granules, Jasun Filtration's Adcells are manufactured from very durable polystyrene plastic.

Providing numerous cost saving benefits, the Adcells are up to 75% cheaper to maintain than standard discarb units and as only the granules need replacing, disposing of the housing is no longer necessary.

As the air volume versus pressure drop is much lower, lesser-powered and therefore quieter and cheaper fans can be used.

Suitable for all climates and environmental conditions, the Adcells are 100% recyclable.

Available in a variety of sizes to accommodate capacities ranging from 277m3/hr to 1700m3/hr, the cells can be easily recharged with new media (granules), thereby offering substantial savings against disposable housings.

Banks of cells can be built up to accommodate any air volume.

As these modules are very light they can be simply and easily installed by one man and negate the potential health and safety issues associated with handling the standard discarb cells.

Commenting, Colin Hitch, Director of Jasun Filtration says: "Over the next three years both the government and EU are planning to bring in tough environmental legislation on air quality.

Our Odour and Chemical Removal Systems are being launched at a time when companies are having to focus on the contaminants they are expelling into the atmosphere".

Suitable for a wide range of applications within process industries, commercial kitchens, transport environments, etc, Jasun Filtration's odour and chemical removal systems are designed by a company renowned for its quality, innovation and customer service.
