Phil Chew new MD for Jackson Products

Jackson Products, UK subsidiary of US based Jackson Products Inc, personal and industrial safety equipment manufacturer, has announced the promotion of Phil Chew to MD.

Jackson Products, the West Midlands, UK subsidiary of US based Jackson Products Inc, personal and industrial safety equipment manufacturer, has announced the promotion of Phil Chew from International Director of Sales to Managing Director Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with immediate effect.

Reporting directly to Michael Mahoney, Vice President International at the Group's headquarters in Fenton, Missouri, USA, Phil will be operating from the UK facilities in Dudley, West Midlands and will be responsible for the overall development and expansion of the Group's business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Michael Mahoney said,: "In the 8 months that Phil has been with the Group, he has shown exceptional ability, drive and leadership to grow our core business within a very important developing region for our complete safety product range including face, eye and hearing protection, welding helmets and industrial safety glasses, clothing as well as hard hats and personal protection sportswear".

"I am confident in Phil's ability to take our International operations to the next level in the continuing international development of the Group and its products" Prior to joining Jackson Products, Phil held a number of senior Director level appointments with ITW Welding Products Group.

He is married and lives in Chorley, Lancashire.
