Jackson Safety , the West Midlands, UK subsidiary of US based Jackson Safety Inc, personal and industrial safety equipment manufacturers has launched '38 Special' a new range of safety glasses with a bold 'fashion look' from it's Smith and Wesson brand of eyewear The '38 Special' range of safety glasses with shatter resistant polycarbonate lenses, are designed for general industrial eye safety in both indoor and outdoor environments providing up to 99.9% UV protection and meeting DIN EN 166 EC Health and Protection Directive on Personal Protective Equipment 89/686/EEC and they exceed the American National Standards Institute ANSI Z87.1+ high impact standards and requirements

They have a brand new ergonomically contoured temple design incorporating sure grip rubber temple inserts in a stylish frame to provide a secure fit plus added comfort for the wearer.

The frames are available in chrome, black or metallic grey with clear, smoke, mirror or blue mirror lenses and are branded with the Smith and Wesson logo on the left temple The Smith and Wesson name is an international brand, famous for its customer loyalty, achieving this acclaim for the "comfort factor" of its eyewear.

Combining these parameters produces spectacles providing maximum comfort, style and safety creating a sealed security enclosure about the wearer's face without even feeling it or knowing it is there.
