Preciso plates enable between one to five recessed downlights to slot neatly into one plate which is then mounted as one, seamless fitting.
Not only does this system offer a sleek, professional finish, it also enables a mixture of lamp types to be used together, which is vital to guarantee that colours are faithfully reproduced in store.
The Collection makes use of the very latest lamps, including metal halides, halogen and the innovative mini white sodium lamp from Philips.
The inclusion of this new lamp will be welcomed by lighting designers and retailers as it offers a larger red spectrum.
This gives it a warmer appearance than metal halide lamps but in the same small, yet long-lived, package.
The Preciso fittings that combine with plates are Ultimo, Ultimo Mini and Piccolo.
The Ultimo range offers fixed and adjustable recessed downlights, including spotlights and floodlights, and also comes in Ultimo Mini, giving designers a choice of sizes within the same range.
Within the Ultimo range there are downlights for ceramic metal halide lamps, metal halide reflector lamps and low voltage halogen lamps.
The smart design of the fittings and the plates mean it is easy to mix different lamp types, for example metal halide and mini white sodium, to create a specific ambiance without compromising the plate's uniform appearance.
Piccolo is the smallest downlight available in the Preciso Collection.
It uses the miniature halogen MR8 dichroic lamp, which gives a sparkling effect, making it particularly good for jewellery displays.
This neat downlight has a fully-adjustable head for precise aiming, and up to five lights can be slotted into one plate.
The Pro3 Track System is the other method of installation offered by Preciso.
This is a highly flexible system for lighting applications of all sizes, and a wide range of accessories and connecting pieces enables the track to be configured in a multitude of ways - an inspiring product for designers.
Pro3 Track is 3-circuit, which means it can operate up to three separate switches within the one track.
This allows the user to split off specific areas within the store, for instance running the window display on one circuit so it can be left illuminated at night.
Pro3 Track is used with Tosca, Tosca Mini and Tosca Micro fittings which come with either integral ballast for metal halide lamps or integral transformer for low voltage halogen lamps.
JCC Lighting uses the latest transformers and electronic ballasts which eliminate colour variation between lamps, improve colour stability and prevent visible lamp flicker.
The Pro3 Track system, with its robust, commercial appearance, makes a bold statement, while the Preciso plates offer clean lines and subtlety.
However, the best of both worlds is offered by the alternative version of the Tosca fittings.
Tosca downlights are a flexible, recessed fitting that can be used as a downlight with the head retracted or as a fully adjustable fitting with the head extended, so it is suspended clear of the ceiling.
Tosca's ability to create eye-catching lighting is already gaining recognition from JCC's clients.
Richard Bramwell, spokesperson for JCC Lighting, said: 'Tosca has really caught our customers' imaginations and they can see the potential this product has for creating wow-factor installations.' Tosca fittings offer spotlight and downlight options, and the range also includes Tosca Mini and Micro, smaller fittings that add extra versatility.
Asked for the advantages of Preciso, Richard Bramwell said: 'These are high quality products at affordable prices.
Better still, availability is excellent which is crucial for retail.
Very often shopfitters only have a few days to complete a refit, yet some of the Italian brands need to be ordered six weeks in advance.
Preciso is an off-the-shelf product, there when you need it'.
Like all JCC Lighting products, Preciso is easy to fit, and in particular shopfitters will welcome the electronic ballasts that are pre-wired with a socket for fast connection to each downlight without the need for tools.
This means each fitting takes moments, rather than several minutes to connect, which could save many man hours on a large job.
