JELD-WEN composite doors at steel door prices
JELD-WEN extends composite door range to include two new styles at steel door prices, specifically developed for housebuilders.
Marianne took her inspiration from the Edwardian, Macintosh and Arts and Crafts movements to create ten attractive glazing options that add impact and character to the sophisticated style of the Meridian range.
"Our brief to Marianne was to create glazing designs that enhanced but did not detract from the classic style of these beautiful doors," explains Mark Roberts, product manager at JELD-WEN.
"The designs cater for a variety of tastes, from subtle styles to more decorative and striking designs".
"She chose natural tones for the decorative glass and detail that is reminiscent of classic eras in art and design, creating a lasting impression of timeless elegance".
"For the visually stunning stained and coloured glass, Marianne chose an attractive range of primary colours that really enhance the solid Oak doors." Every glass pattern has been carefully crafted to suit the door style to which it belongs, using real leaded designs with coloured glass panels, as well as etched and screen-printed designs.
Modern glass technology has allowed Marianne to combine beautiful materials and techniques that would have been impossible to achieve in the past.
These new designs offer a number of finishes, from the crisp simplicity of etched and bevelled to the visually stunning hand-made stained glass.
An extensive range of door styles are available, to suit both traditional through to more contemporary homes.
Mark Roberts continues: "Entrance doors create an immediate first impression of a home, which is why they are so important in our collection".
"These new additions really push the boundaries in terms of design and finishing options".
"We expect the Meridian range to become the first of many designer ranges we introduce over the coming months.".
