JELD-WEN internal doorkits have a solid fixing system through the lining into the core of the wall, which allows for the fitting of a fire door or other heavy core door.
Interlocking mechanical joints also enable a tight accurate fit to the architrave system, which enables adjustment for minor variations in position.
All doorkits also feature a symmetrical design, allowing for handings to be decided on site, with all machining ready prepared and finished to a high quality standard.
The design of the architrave and doorstop enables the fittings and screwheads to be concealed, giving a superior finish and eliminating the need for filling afterwards.
This ensures minimal preparation and saves time on final decoration, in line with NHBC recommendations.
Internal doorkits come primed, ready for final fitting on site.
JELD-WEN also offers moisture resistant linings and architraves in standard sizes.
