National sales executive at Lowestoft

Robin Gwatkin has been appointed as National Sales Executive for Lowestoft Components, a major supplier of timber components and part of JELD-WEN.

Robin, who previously worked for eight years for BSW Timber plc, one of the UK's largest sawmilling companies, as Sales Area Manager, will be using his expertise and contacts within the construction and timber industry, to develop new markets for the company's specialist component manufacturing skills This includes identifying opportunities across the whole timber sector including component manufacturing for flooring, furniture production , doors and windows, timber frame housing and general construction industry needs

Tom Horne, General Manager at Lowestoft Components, said: "Robin is well known within the timber industry and his contacts will help us develop our business to offer the very highest quality components to other manufacturers".

"There are huge opportunities for expanding our business and we are looking forward to meeting the market demands".

Robin has recently returned from a gap year in which he achieved his Oceans Masters Certificate in sailing, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and passed his black belt in judo.
