JELD-WEN appoints regional door
distributors
JELD-WEN UK establish eight individual door distributors around the country to enhance its service to its smaller local merchant customer base.
The distributors include Ridgeons, Archibalds, Alsford Timber, Arnold Laver, Robert Price, Rembrandt, DCB and XL Joinery All eight door distributors are volume door customers for JELD-WEN and will act as regional distribution centres to provide a nationwide service on the company's core range of moulded and veneered doors Adrian Wade, Sales Director for JELD-WEN, explains: "By having a national network of distributors we can offer smaller merchants who don't buy in large quantities a fast, effective service with even easier access to a wide range of doors"

Non-stocked items are available within 8-12 days of placing an order David Oldfield from Arnold Laver Timber World, one of the chosen door distributors for the Yorkshire, North East and Berkshire regions said: "We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with JELD-WEN to help local merchants to benefit from our national sites and fast delivery service".
"The response so far has been very positive and we are expecting to see an increase in door sales over the coming months.".
