JER Envirotech International announces multiple commercial orders from Guardian Building Products for JERtech thermoplastic biocomposite compound.
JER has been working with Guardian since late 2006 and in November of 2007 announced a four-year supply agreement with the company Since then, JER has been supplying Guardian with customized JERtech biocomposites for the manufacturer of its unique, polypropylene-based "Decades" line of composite decking products
"These new orders are scheduled for delivery in May and June of 2008 alone, and represent the delivery of a truckload every four days from JER," states CEO, Edward Trueman.
"Guardian has also indicated that its intent is to increase its order flow to a truckload every three days (ten truckloads per month) as soon as possible".
Guardian operates more than 100 distribution centres across the United States.
JER is currently in the process of adding additional production capacity in the United States to meet the requirements of Guardian as well as other regional clients.
