Jewson Buys Community Police Car
Builders merchant Jewson has answered a 999 call from North Wales Police by donating a new car to the community beat officers for Buckley and the surrounding villages.

"For the past five years I've been sharing a car with other officers, but thanks to Jewson I am now really mobile.

"Other areas have recorded great success with this type of community policing.
We work closely with local schools, pub landlords and community groups and also hold 'surgeries' for people to air their grievances." Jewson area director Ken Jones was keen to help North Wales Police: "We believe the partnership with the police is a great way of building a safer community.
The dynamic projects planned by the community beat officers will also benefit our customers - including small building companies which may need advice on locking away their valuable tools and materials.".
